Karina Garcia-Kornbaum joined Every Meal as the Office Coordinator in January 2024. She is a proud Puerto Rican and Chicagoan. She graduated from North Central University with a degree in Intercultural Studies with a Business Emphasis. She comes to us from the Higher Education and Church Ministry fields which encompassed the first eight years of her career. In those eight years, she gained skills in nonprofit leadership, administrative organization, employee engagement, event planning, conflict resolution, and relationship building. Karina, her husband Joe, and their cat Katja moved from Chicago to Minneapolis in 2020.

When Karina is not working, you can find her reading, traveling, hanging out with her husband and cat, at the gym, or with her close friends and family.
