Winona became a part of the Every Meal team in April 2024. She comes with a decade of experience in development, serving various communities in the Twin Cities.

She has a Bachelor's degree from UW-Madison and studied Nonprofit Management at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at UMN. She worked in community engagement at ICA Food Shelf, kicking off her nonprofit career managing the largest one-day food drive in MN. She put her French language skills to use at the Alliance Française, where she managed fundraising events and donor relations and then focused on individual donor relations at Can Do Canines. She is passionate about what a community can do when we come together to support each other.

In her personal life, Winona enjoys biking and picnicking with her family, catching live music and travelling when she can; mostly "up north". She usually has a DIY house project on the docket and a foster animal or two at home.
